Winter Weddings. I’m going to admit that Autumn (fall) & winter are my favourite wedding seasons. There’s a lot to be said for the magic of mulled wine and open fires while say...ing your vows and snowflakes (being in Australia let’s put an “I Wish “onto that statement) as you take to the floor for your bridal waltz.
Unfortunately though, finding winter style wedding gowns is not an easy thing- designers favor strapless, skin exposing gowns which might not work if you’re the cold blooded type (like me) on your wedding day. So today, upon reader request, I’m taking a look at some winter wedding gown inspiration and ways you can warm up your bridal ensemble on your wedding day!
One of the first Australian designers that always pops into my head when thinking of warm gowns is Basilica- long, elegant coats which can be taken off for dancing or kept on as an integral part of the gown make a stunning statement.
